If eating out in the evenings is not your thing, we have a fully equipped guest kitchen where you can prepare your favourite meal or experiment with local produce.
Galway and its people nurture a wonderful and rare sense of community. In the Nest we are truly enthusiastic about this buzzer of a city and through various collaborations with local businesses, events organisers and service providers we would like to share this love, passion and information with our guests.
We also try to do our bit for the environment. Starting with the use of mostly salvaged building materials for some of the designs, having eco friendly toiletries, sourcing our breakfast ingredients locally and encouraging eco practices throughout the Nest’s operations.
You’ll find us on the doorstep to a 2km long Prom wrapped around the Galway Bay, on the stretch with a microbrewery, followed by local coffee shops, O’Connors famous traditional pub and within a short stroll from the magic of Quay Street. Our location gives you the opportunity to access our closeby bakery, local food stores and off license in order to organise a perfect night in.
The Nest is an alternative accommodation concept, home comforts with an industrial twist and a subtle local touch. Our en-suite bedrooms are fitted with super comfy beds, soft linen, power showers and contemporary Irish art work. Accommodating groups or creating family rooms is our additional feature. There is a variety of flexible room types to suit any group’s needs.
