Pipe bands, dance groups, performance artists and community groups come from all over the world to Galway each year to experience a St Patrick’s Day parade that is widely regarded as one of the best in Ireland.
2020 marks the 117th anniversary of the Galway St. Patrick’s Day Parade and you can expect a wonderful spectacle of all things Irish. The iconic fountain in Eyre Square will even turn green as part of the St Patrick’s Day celebrations.
Following the parade, family-oriented entertainment is expected to be held on Eyre Square including live music, a vintage carousel and amusements and children’s entertainment.
