“Take me to the sea”. Right on our doorstep here at The Nest Boutique Hostel boasts a beautiful 3km stretch along Salthill’s Promenade. The Blackrock diving tower located along the Prom is one of Galway’s most iconic swim spots and a “must do” for all visitors.
All year round locals and visitors alike take the plunge into the Atlantic braving the elements of the colder months and cooling off during the summer, you have no choice but to get sucked into that community feel that Blackrock has created over the years. Swimmable at all stages of the tide, swimmers and dippers will be found here all day, from 6am right through to 10pm at night…..and sometimes a little later.
So during your stay here at The Nest don’t forget to get your feet wet & experience the famous diving board. To jump or not to jump,,, that is the question 🙂
