The location in the Salthill Quarter is perfect, with parking available on site. Close to the city, quiet and by the sea. The atmosphere is so cozy that you’d happily spend an entire afternoon there. The breakfast is excellent.
More of a “Poshtel” than a Hostel. So pleased with our choice here, it completely exceeded expectations. The place felt much more like a hotel than a hostel. Staff were really friendly and helpful with recommendations for food and entertainment.
We stayed here for just one night but would have happily stayed a week. The private room we had was spacious, had a large comfy bed, was super tidy and just had everything we needed. The staff were wonderful and friendly from start to finish, the breaky was awesome and we just cannot fault this hostel!
Amazing value, beautiful room. Fantastic location, a short walk to the beach or 10 minute drive to city centre. Room was clean, comfortable and completely exceeded our expectations. Staff were amazing and we loved the little coffee shop attached to the hostel.

Staff were very friendly yet not overly nor fake, rooms were spotless, kitchen spotless and well stocked, really liked the building itself, location is excellent. I had an entirely different concept of what a hostel was, it’s like a quaint hotel with bunk beds.
Well appointed yet funky. The Nest is a delight. Every thing was superbly appointed but with a funky touch that really makes a difference. Loved it.
It’s a really great hostel to stay in, really nicely decorated and a chill atmosphere, it definitely feels cosy. Little touches like fairy lights and good quality shampoo and body wash made me feel really relaxed while staying here.
Great spot just outside the busy streets, so nice and quiet. Very clean and staff were extremely friendly. Highly recommend.
My friend and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. The breakfast had a good variety and was really yummy. Our little private room was so cute, we especially enjoyed the fairy lights on the ceiling.
For the second and certainly not the last time. I came back to Galway for two days during my time in Dublin almost exclusively because of The Nest Boutique. Of course I love Galway, but even the thought of the leisurely walk to my accommodation motivated me.
Always great staying at The Nest. Lovely staff and just a great place to stay.

The hostel is located close to the promenade in Salthill with easy access to the City Cente. The staff were really sound and friendly and the hostel itself was immaculately clean with a very chilled vibe in the common areas. 10/10 recommend.

Great hostel, super kind staff, clean and with great amenities. Location is a 15/20 min walk to the city centre, but there are plenty of pubs/restaurants near the hostel so it doesn't feel far.
The hostel is beautiful. From the building itself that has the shape of the typical house in the area to the reception. The common area is very well decorated and very modern, ideal for relaxing and chatting with background music and a very good atmosphere. The rooms are beautiful, upon entering our room we find it illuminated with beautiful coloured lights that gave it a very romantic air. They are also spacious, clean and very comfortable rooms and the bathrooms are very large and clean too. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful, whatever you need you can ask. Breakfast is served in the kitchen, which you can use if you want to cook something, and it is very complete. I had the pleasure of staying at this hostel while excavating in Galway during the months of January and February this year. The building is decorated in an appealing industrial style and was maintained spotlessly clean. The bedrooms are large, comfortable and for me personally had the pleasant option of shutting down the heating. The common area contains a wood stove, a welcome sight after a cold day outside. A generous breakfast is provided that is the perfect preparation for such days. However, for me the nicest thing about the Nest hostel must be the staff. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and involved, they make it seem more like a stay at a friend's. I travel a fair bit for work and this is one of the best places where I have stayed. I highly recommend it.
Really nice hostel with friendly staff and walkable distance to town. The room we stayed in was great, and the kitchen facilities were incredible. The breakfast they serve in the mornings was super yummy. There’s a shared living area with boardgames to keep you occupied in nasty weather. Would stay again.
